Description
The 61-key Korg Triton, released in 1999, is a music workstation synthesizer that was very well received during its production. Besides digital sampling and sequencing features, a key feature of the Triton is the first demonstration of Korg’s critically-acclaimed Hyper Integrated (HI) synthesis system, which combined together several processing chips from the Trinity (the Triton’s predecessor). The Triton really set the bar in other ways too, offering 62-note polyphony and a wave ROM of 32 MB. The Triton has been used by too many artists to count, including David Bowie, Children of Bodom, Moby, Brian Eno, and more.
